This collection of 150 photographs spans 50 years in the life of Susan Soney Rakacs, from the 1930s to the 1980s. The photos are mainly of Susan and Joe Rakacs as a young couple, along with their two children Patricia and Shirley, as well as a few snapshots of their parents, siblings and relatives.

The collection is divided into four galleries:

• Memory Book - this souvenir album from Beach Haven, New Jersey has about 10 pages of photos and captions from a teenage Susan Soney.

• Portrait Photos - a few large-format portrait photos of various extended family members.

• Older Photos - this large collection of black and white photos spans the early years of Susan and Joe's marriage and the childhood of their two daughters.

• Newer Photos - this smaller collection of color photos is from the later years in Susan and Joe's lives as grandparents and retirees.

This collection was scanned by Pete Remine (Susan's grandson) in 2008.
The backs of all the photos are captioned by Susan Soney, and are indicated with the suffix "_over".
Full size images suitable for printing (600 dpi) are included in the "large_jpg" folder on this CD.
All raw scans are unretouched. They may benefit greatly from a bit of contrast and sharpening.
