This CDR contains several directories of artwork: one for the sample gallery, one for the full gallery (screen & print sizes), one for the graphics used on these HTML pages, and one for the extra (non-photographic) scans.
The photographs were scanned in December of 2005 by Peter Remine. The file format is JPG, and the photos were scanned in at 600 dpi. Although the smaller screen versions of the photos have been altered (cropped, levels altered, sharpening, etc.), the large master scans are unaltered. You may find that some auto-levelling, edge sharpening or other simple image processing may improve them before printing.
You can browse the original scans here on the print size photo gallery, or grab them directly from the "photos/pix" directory. You'll want to do some editing (crop, resize, etc.) in a graphics program prior to printing any photos.
There is also a page and a PDF file which contains a complete list of the photographs, as well as any writing or machine stamps on the reverse side. Sometimes there are funny or helpful notes, but many photos have no information at all.
Lastly, there are a few scans of the reverse sides with a particularly interesting inscription, and a couple of blanks for graphic art purposes.
This CDR was created on a Macintosh, but should be readable by all computers.
